Hey, I’m Kristen!
I was born in a small town outside of Vancouver, where I grew up painting, taking pictures and exploring the outdoors. After backpacking multiple countries in Southeast Asia, I came home to study environmental science and biology at university. Now, I'm sharing my adoration for nature through photography.
From a young age my dad has shared his love of hiking, camping, fishing and canoeing with me. Spending so much time in nature gave me a greater appreciation for it. My education further fueled this passion, by emphasizing the importance of conservation. I am constantly inspired by the beauty of our forests, mountains and wildlife and I want to showcase them, while also advocating for their protection.
